This is now the second time I've ordered something new from Amazon and received the purchased item in less than new condition. If items are advertised as new they should arrive as such. I have collected these from the beginning and I know the box conditions as well as the charm with the bow doesn't arrive looking like it's been untied and tied again. The pamphlet which comes inside should be crisp not wrinkled. The box itself is completely damaged to the point where it is taped on the corner and the hinge doesn't even close properly. The flute itself arrived with the etching face down which isn't how they arrive and it appears someone forcefully removed the flute at some point to rip the edges where it fits in. I'm very disappointed with my purchase again and would certainly hesitate to order from Amazon for "new" products if they continue to arrive in defective condition. This looks like someone had it in their attic and/or garage and decided to re-sell it. Please see atttached photographs.

I ordered this for a Christmas gift. The wrong items was sent to the receiver and I contacted the company after the holidays. Well the long and the short of it is that it still has not been received. I recently sent them an e-mail which has gone unanswered. No one is there on Fridays. I called during the week and got a message that they close at 3:30PM etc. Today their machine said that they are there from 10-6 on Monday thru Thur. I'll see what Monday brings. I am very disappointed with this whole deal.

I live in Michigan, and bought this for a six hour trip up to the Upper Peninsula. I tested it and it works great. It was able to handle both USB ports being used (by an iPod Touch and a regular touchscreen cell phone) and have a power strip plugged into it with a laptop plugged in to the power strip. I've read reviews about these coolers for a couple of years and I have a few of their 120mm case fans which are very high quality and very quiet. I broke a silicone mounting pin that came with one of my fans a couple a years ago, so I wrote to Noctua customer service to ask if I could get a replacement. They sent met about 2 dozen silicone pins of different lengths and styles and it was express mail! That kind of service would work for lots of other manufacturers.

My latest build is a AM3 X4 965 BE on an Asus M4A88T-V EVO/USB3 mobo in a Cooler Master 690 II Advance case.
I over clocked from the stock 3.4 to 3.9 and my idle temp is 27C. At load the warmest I've seen is 49C! I am using the normal configuration mobo connector and haven't even tried the "quiet" low voltage connector. If I put my head about a foot from my open case I can hear the fan.

After my system is burned in good I will see how high I can clock before my temps get serious.

It is a little fussy to install, but is way better than the stock AM3 mobo clamp set up. I used the included Noctua thermal paste. Start up idle temp was abut 35C and in three days it was down to 27C.

Very impressed and quite satisfied.


noctua NH-C12P SE14 Review by efoto

The first thing any honest person will say about the Noctua NH-C12P SE14 is that this is HUGE. The overall space that this takes up is incredible but the performance it provides for that space is also amazing. The design of this cooler is a top-down blower which provides additional cooling for surrounding system components such as RAM, CPU driver MOSFETs, some chipset cooling, etc.

I installed this cooler on a Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD4 motherboard and the cooler heatpipes fit over the VRM heatsinks with ease in all orientations. The heatpipes do however contact the tops of my G.Skill Ripjaw-X RAM modules in one specific orientation where the bent pipes are facing the RAM slots. The bend in the pipes is not high enough to clear the tall heatsinks of the Ripjaw-X ram (but it does clear standard Ripjaw heatsinks), so plan accordingly when using RAM with extra-tall heatsinks (Corsair Vengance/Dominator, etc).

The Noctua mounting solution is absolutely top-notch. There is a solid metal back-plate, plastic offsets for the top, and extremely effective spanning brackets that distribute the clamping force. I followed Noctua's suggestion of thermal paste application using there provided paste (the highly reviewed NT-H1) by putting a 4-5mm droplet in the middle and letting the heatsink spread it accordingly.

My temperatures on the 2500k (stock clock) under full load (ORTHOS, all 4 cores + RAM, large FFTs) shows 58�-60�C max after 45 minutes! I should note this is in a Zalman HD501 case (HTPC horizontal style) which provides a vent on the top cover which almost perfectly aligns with the fan of this NH-C12P SE14, very nice!
Idle temps are 30�-31� (after 1 hour at Win 7 64-bit desktop).

The price is a tad higher than other popular air coolers, however, the large 14cm fan atop this massive heatsink provides excellent cooling at an unnoticed sound note.

Overall I highly recommend this cooler for instances where air cooling is a limitation and sound is incredibly important.


noctua NH-C12P SE14 Review by Morf Thumperton (California)

You can find plenty of serious cooling comparisons for this as well as the thermal grease it includes online; it's a great heatsink if you want to avoid a tower/horizontal design for airflow reasons. If size is the reason you're avoiding towers this is probably not your solution.

It arrived in great shape, the parts for Intel and for AMD neatly separated. It's large so make sure you take measurements before ordering and I'd suggest if you have any cables that're going to be pushed aside by it, unplug them and get them out of the way while you're mounting it. I took a shortcut thinking I'd just squeeze them aside, but they threw me off enough before I got to tightening that I had to re-grease and reseat it.

Installation on an Asus M4A785TD-V EVO went without issues, did not have to remove the motherboard.

I had a stock cooler for the AMD Phenom II X2, and with the two "extra" cores unlocked it used to reach this processor's instability zone of 55C within a couple minutes under full load, hit 57C within five, at which point I cease any stress tests. Note that the proper Phenom II X4 quad cores come with a beefier heatsink than my X2 stock cooler.

Now with the NH-C12P SE14 hooked up, fan at full speed, it's holding steady at a healthy 49C after a full hour of 100% load, 4 cores, with a mild overclock to 3.3GHz up from 3.1. It's done exactly what I wanted it to do; lowered my temps in general by a good 8-10C and more importantly lowered the peak load temp to something safe with headroom to overclock, down from a temperature cap I couldn't even ascertain with the stock HSF because it was reaching an unhealthy temp within minutes. I can now either push the overclocking, lower the fan speed to absolutely silent levels, or do a little bit of both.

I might've achieved similar results with a cheaper HSF (or by just buying a Phenom II X4 outright instead of unlocking an X2) but there's something to be said for the fit and finish; Noctua fans are beautiful and quiet, their products consistently show excellent performance, and their warranties run for 6 years. This thing will probably serve me for longer than the processor it's cooling and my wife appreciates being able to hear the T.V. while I monkey with overclocks.

I ordered a Dell Power Supply & was having it sent to my house but after I ordered it from a recommended company (not Dell) I decided to call Dell back being the computer has had this problem as per websites & the technician from Dell told me the part & labor was under warranty. I immediately contacted the company to let them know this & to STOP shipment from being processed. I am NOT satisfied that I ONLY received the part refund but had to pay shipping costs although they had notice not to send it. This is why I do not like to deal with buying things online I think it's unfair to charge customers shipping if the product is damaged,or person said NOT to deliver (as I did)or the item is not what you thought it was..If I am returning it I expect a FULL REFUND. I paid about 1/2 the cost of the item in shipping fees therefore I avoid to shop online.

I was very pleased with this purchase. It was one fourth the cost of my local Ford dealers parts department and half the price of my cheapest local parts store. Based on other reviews and its incredibly cheap price I was really expecting some issue to arise from this generic mirror. I bought it for a 2000 Ford Focus ZX3 and it looks great, installed with ease, fit flush and snug and works perfectly. Fast shipping too. A better than expected purchase.

I recently went to several Ford Dealers to find a replacement for my passenger side rear view mirror. The least expensive quote I got was $106, again this is for a MANUAL rear view mirror, not including any fees for ordering. A FORD dealer with no FORD focus rear view mirrors in stock, hmmm... It is true that it doesn't fit completely flush with the top part of the molding, but that is more of a cosmetic issue. I had no problem fitting and installing it in less than 5 min, it works great. If you want the look of an absolutely perfect, sleak fit, be prepared to pay for it. If all you need is a mirror that fits well and does the job, this is just right.

After a tree fell on my 2003 Focus ZX3 I needed a new manual side mirror. The price was definitely right on this mirror, but it just didn't fit exactly right. The top trim piece did not fit flush with the rest of the car. And the manual controls dont work exactly like the OEM Ford mirror that was on it originally. On the Ford mirror, the control know screws on the mirror controls. This one doesn't. If you are in a tight with little money this mirror will get you roadworthy again for about $20. I rated this OK because it was just that. Not as good as an OEM mirror, but way better than my busted one!

Got these as a college graduation gift to myself since my old pair of jazz shoes are falling to pieces (quite literally). My street size is a 6.5 and the 6.5 in this shoe is a wee bit too long (about 1/2 inch of unused space in the toe). The heel is a little high, but I assume it will wear down with time.

The crib is... OK. Not great, not awful. It goes together relatively easily, and is relatively sturdy when complete. Wood and finish are pretty cheap, but not ridiculous at this price point.

What gives me pause, however, was my intention to pair it with a changing table in the same line. That didn't work out too well, via a combination of faulty parts and useless customer service. So, while I did have a somewhat positive experience with the crib, it may wind up failing to match whatever I have to do to get a safe and functional changing table.

Acer AS3830TG-6431 Review by BillWork

Got this for schoolwork and mobile gaming. I have been surprised over
and over again while playing games on it: it outperforms my
expectations consistently. So far I have played Fallout New Vegas,
Just Cause 2, and League of Legends. Each game runs on high to maximum
settings perfectly. Only glitch is you must be sure it is using the
dedicated card, or it will "only" run games at medium settings with
the integrated card (which is also more powerful than I anticipated).
It has done that a couple of times.

Build quality is as I expected. Keyboard is nice. Battery life is
adequate so far (5 - 10 hours depending on application). The power
supply is high quality brand (HIPRO 90Wh).

Okay, so here is my pleasant surprise. The laptop actually came with
i5 2430m instead of the i5 2410m--higher number so it MUST be better!
But seriously, I've done some research online (as well as running
Powermark benchmarks) and it appears that the 2430m is handily
superior to its 9 month old predecessor. I'm not sure why Acer didn't
advertise the change, but there it is.

Overall, it is a great balance between performance, mobility, and
value. I'm loving it!

This is one of the best value laptop deals out there. I've had it for about a month now, and I'm still very impressed with everything it's offered. There has not been a single issue with it so far. I'm a big multi-tasker, and so I usually need a computer that can handle the multitudes of programs that have opened at one time (which includes photoshop, dreamweaver, chrome, microsoft word, as well as ram-intensive games). This computer not only handles everything I dish at it, but it handles it very smoothly. Although I should be studying, I also run the computer for 8 hours on high performance videogames each day, and the laptop does not even come close to having a heat problem. I used to own an hp, so I know what it's like to have overheating. The Dolby tuned speakers are a godsend, and I can actually blast music and hear audio when I'm watching a video (without the need for heaphones). The chiclet keyboards have nice aesthetic appeal, although it's not as responsive as the best laptops out there, but it's still very highly above average. When I first received the laptop, I was actually surprised and turned off by how small it actually is compared to the acer 14 inch inspirons. After one day's use, I got used to it, and the 14 inch inspiron actually felt too big and clunky. This is perfect portability. The battery life is great. I've actually streamed long movies for my friends using this computer, and they were very much surprised by how much battery life it had left after the movie. At first, I was very disappointed by the lack of a disk drive, and I actually thought about returning it for that reason. I didn't return it because external drives are pretty cheap and I have not needed to use a disk drive since I bought the computer (in fact, I can't even remember the last time I needed a disk drive). The only thing missing that would make this laptop perfect: backlit keyboards and a solid state hard drive. The latter you can always buy and replace, and the former...well too bad. I'd give it 9/10.
